Appropriations are one part of a complex federal budget process that includes budget resolutions, appropriations (regular, supplemental, and continuing) bills, rescissions, and budget reconciliation bills. This report is a guide to the CRS experts who have subject matter expertise in these processes, and in the 12 individual appropriations bills in particular.
The following tables provide the names and contact information for CRS experts on appropriations, and policy concerns related to appropriations. Table 1 is a summary table that provides the names and contact information for experts on general appropriations, appropriations jurisdictions and processes, and identifies the coordinators of the CRS appropriations products on each of the 12 regular appropriations bills. Tables 2-13 provide detailed lists of appropriation and policy experts associated with each individual regular appropriation bill.
